Lowboy Trailers

Lowboy trailers are available from Overbilt Trailer Company. Our trailers are top of the line 25 and 35 ton carrying capacity lowboy trailers. Trailer components, custom trailer construction and finish put us above all lowboy trailers manufacturers. Although our trailer pricing doesn't reflect it, we have no competition in lowboy trailers.

Our 25 ton lowboy trailers have 50,000 pound trailer platform capacity and the 35 ton lowboy trailers have 70,000 pound trailer platform capacity. Other lowboy trailers have a gross vehicle weight rating, meaning if you have a 50,000 pound lowboy trailer, you must subtract the weight of the lowboy trailer. If our competitor's lowboy trailers weigh 10,000 pounds, the net payload on the trailer cannot exceed 40,000 pounds. However our lowboy trailers have a net platform carrying capacity of the full 50,000 pounds.

• Features include: straight air brakes on the trailer, 17.5 x 6.75 10 bolt disc wheels with 215/75R x 17.5 tires for the 25 ton trailer and 8.25 x 10 hole disc wheels with 255/70R 22.5 tires on the 35 ton trailer.
• The canted wide flange gooseneck lowboy has a turning radius to accommodate a twin screw tractor. The 3' beaver tail with traction bars on the trailer facilitates easy loading. Many lowboy trailer manufacturers don't offer ramps on trailers, and those that do offer them on lowboy trailers as high cost options. These are standard on our lowboy trailers.
• The trailer main frame is constructed of high tensile material which is up to 38 percent stronger than mild steel on trailers. The channel iron outer trailer rails are 12" material with 6 "D" rings as standard trailer equipment. The trailers have load bearing bolsters to minimize wheel openings and provide more traction when loading trailers.
• The lowboy trailers come equipped with Betts sealed lighting system. Our lowboy trailer system is better than waterproof - our lowboy trailers are vapor proof. Our trailers are recessed for maximum protection and include all DOT required trailer lights.
